As the Director of Design & Technology, Mr. Skinner assumes a comprehensive role overseeing architectural design and technology management across a portfolio of 13 Class A rated commercial office buildings, totaling over 2 million square feet in Westchester and Fairfield counties. With more than a decade at Reckson, Matt has successfully conceptualized designs for new tenant spaces, improved existing tenant areas, implemented building capital enhancements, and taken charge of technology infrastructure throughout the entire portfolio. Before joining Reckson, Matt accrued over 14 years of experience in architecture, serving in roles such as Draftsman, Project Architect, and Job Captain in the tri-state area. Additionally, he ventured into entrepreneurship, owning a DJ entertainment and AV consulting business in the audio-visual field.

Having joined Reckson in 2012, Mr. Skinner boasts over 20 years of experience in both residential and commercial architecture. His proficiency in technology, spanning 3D modeling, stereoscopic imaging, virtual reality, and augmented reality, distinguishes him as a leader. Matt leverages these skills as powerful presentation tools, supporting the Leasing, Marketing, Building Management, and Construction Departments. His involvement spans from the RFP phase to overseeing day-to-day operations until construction completion.

Mr. Skinner holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from NYIT of Manhattan and was recognized as a Rising Star's Top 40 Under 40 in Architecture by the Business Council of Westchester in 2017. He has additional certifications in OSHA Construction Safety and Path Roadway Worker (EIC) Employee in Charge.
